What a great achievement of the UNDP and SIWSAP project team in the Solomons: Recently, they handed one of the desalination plants over to the Choiseul provincial government and celebrated the inauguration in Taro. "High cases of related diseases, disruption of public and medical services, high costs of transport for fetching water from mainland - they are now long gone." - Premier of Choiseul at the handing-over ceremony.

We're happy to see the Trunz Water Systems in action, providing access to clean drinking water for the inhabitants of Taro and other remote islands in the Solomons. Trunz had the opportunity to assist installation and conduct technical trainings in order to secure the units can be maintained and operated independently after commissioning. We learnt a lot from the local project team about living conditions and challenges on the islands. And we could share our experience how to operate systems successfully in remote areas. Sharing knowledge - a key factor for sustainable water projects!
